ABOUT SANTA'S SLEIGH
Great Dunmow Round Table has been bringing Santa to the streets of Great Dunmow for decades playing Christmas classics, giving out chocolates, and spreading festive cheer!
Why? To help put a smile on the faces of children and also collect important donations for charities, causes, and families that are really in need of help as we hit the winter season.
In recent years we have begun collecting long life food items for local foodbanks and new, unwrapped gifts for children who wouldn't otherwise get a Christmas present on behalf of the Salvation Army's Christmas Present Appeal.
WHERE IS SANTA?
Santa plans to begin his journey from 6:15pm but there can occasionally be technical issues with the sleigh. If you're too excited, wait outside for us or you can wait in the warm and track Santa by clicking the button below.
WHAT CAN I DONATE?
Great Dunmow Round Table will be collecting cash, long-life food, and brand-new unwrapped toys. Click here to see what the Food Bank needs.
Please note we are unable to accept second-hand toys.
HOW CAN I DONATE?
Food and children's gift donations can be left at the end of your driveway from 6:15pm for our volunteers to collect. We will be knocking on doors but may miss your property.
DO I HAVE TO DONATE?
Absolutely not! We are collecting for charity but we're also here to help Santa spread Christmas cheer. Feel free to take a free chocolate from our volunteers and give him a wave!
YOUR DONATIONS MAKE A CHANGE
Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we are able to help feed hundreds of local families this Christmas, you keep the magic of Christmas alive for children living in poverty with the gifts you donate and your monetary donations go to support a whole range of charities, causes and individuals in need.
Last year we collected over 2 tons of food, and hundreds of gifts while raising thousands for the local community.
